The process to volunteer with WeARE has been updated. Please complete the online volunteer application form below whether you have volunteered with us in the past or not. Please also review the volunteer opportunities below.
Once you complete the application form, WeARE will review and send you an email about upcoming volunteer orientations and volunteer opportunities.
The opportunities below require a one time general volunteer orientation (30 minutes) and there is no time commitment required.
General Volunteer — Work alone or with other volunteers completing various projects for the clinic. Projects may include: mailings, setting up for events, facilities maintenance, inventory tracking, donating food or preparing food.
Facilities Management — Cleaning, carpentry, electric, landscaping and general upkeep.
Special Events — WeARE hosts several fundraising and community events throughout the year. Assignments may include: preparing invitations, setting up, greeting and serving food.
Grant Application Reviewer — Review grant applications. Additional duties may include: provide research, assist with writing and develop documents related to grant’s impact on projects.
The opportunities below require additional orientation and training. They also require a minimum time commitment.
Clinic Front Desk — Staff the reception desk: greet clients, answer phones, scheduling and other office tasks. Requires proficient computer skills.
Clinic Health Care Staff — Complete patient assessments and data entry, lab work and education. Qualifications include Health Care License or Certification.
Clinic Provider — WeARE Clinic Providers will primarily conduct patient exams. Qualifications: Must be a licensed PA, NP or MD. Must provide current license number.
SxTalk Facilitator — Facilitate evidence-based curricula presentations in the community.
